Year 6 Court of Law | February 2, 2016 |
Year 6 read the poem "The Highwayman" by Alfred Noyes. We changed it so that the Highwayman had to stand trial in a Court of Law. Each child had a role such as judge, witness, juror etc. We did this to learn about the rule of law and British legal system and then wrote a judge's summary based on the evidence. |
