Engage! Y2 get down to the beat with a visiting drummer.

November 19, 2014
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that... inspirational learning activity!  The drummer had all the chops, and Y2 had a chance to try out their hand on the bass and drum.  It wasn't quite as easy as he made it look.

Y3 Find out where their food comes from…

November 19, 2014
At the moment the topic in Y3 is Scrumddliyumptious which is all about food.  Tesco was part of our Engage.  We learnt how bread is made and we saw all the machinery that is used.  We also experienced the fish counter and got to touch real fish!  In the fruit department  we looked at all the different fruit varieties countries of origin.  We also got to try sugar doughnuts and packed up the bread buns.

Y6 Trip to Eden Camp

November 19, 2014
As part of our Y6 topic 'A Child's War', the children visited Eden Camp to immerse themselves in a wartime experience.  They experienced 'The Blitz', 'The Blackouts' and what it was like to live with rationing.  They had a super visit and were such a credit to us all.
