Innovate!

July 25, 2014
We have been enjoying our new curriculum and in week 5 we all got to INNOVATE which means we designed, experimented, created and explored our themes even more.  Foundation Stage were looking at what it means to be the fastest and Reception made snails that they then raced in home made vehicles.  Year 1 innovated costumes and instruments ready for a Mardi Gras style carnival.  Year 2 made herby biscuits using herbs they had grown as part of The Scented Garden.  Year 3 made The Iron Man!  Year 5 invesigated time, designing water clocks and time machines and Year 6 had great fun with spinning art as part of their Gallery Rebels theme.

Trip to Robinwood

March 19, 2014
February 10th – 12th We had an amazing time on our residential trip to Robinwood!  Mrs Scaife, Mrs Malbon and 26 children from Years 5 and 6 tackled the zip wire, giant swing, crate challenge and lots of puzzles.  The weather wasn’t great but it didn’t stop us having a fantastic time.  The children were, as ever, just brilliant!
